We now seem to have a reliable magazine for the Marlin semi auto .22 rifles. ProMag has had some misses in the past and some wins…it appears from our testing this 25 rd polymer magazine (for Marlin Papoose, 795, 925, XT-22 rifles) is the latter. It is important to understand what this means: now the Marlin Papoose becomes my number recommended SURVIVAL RIFLE, having more “firepower” if needed. This mag is reasonably priced, removable baseplate, and lightweight. Dial in to see the shooting results.
