In this tutorial, I’ll be showing you how to cure two issues with one mod.

The first use-case here is the ability to lower your screen’s brightness even further than the stock settings allow you to. As an added bonus, if you’re using a device with an AMOLED display, you’ll also be able to reduce the flicker effect that occurs when you dim the screen past a certain point.

By superimposing a translucent layer of black on your screen, the Xposed module “Screen Filter” allows you to make your screen even darker than its lowest brightness setting. And if you suffer from screen flicker issues at lower brightness levels, Screen Filter will allow you to reduce your display’s luminosity without getting that pulsating effect.
