Unboxing the all new Xiaomi Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite- a new series of smartphones by the Chinese giant. While Redmi Y1 boasts of a 16MP front camera with soft-toned flash, Y1 Lite is a big screen phone at a very low price. Since there are already so many phones out there in this price range, I tried to categories the handsets according to their purpose and target audience. Overall Y1 seems like a great ‘multimedia’ all-in-one smartphone while Y1 Lite with just 2GB RAM is for people needing a big screen for movies and browsing!
