Lisa Gade reviews the late 2017 Razer Blade Stealth with a 13.3” QHD+ 3200 x 1800 Sharp IGZO display and the Intel 8th generation Kaby Lake-R quad core, 15 watt Core i7-8550U CPU. The 13” Stealth is a more mainstream size than the original 12.5” model, and even better it’s still thin and weighs just under 3 lb. / 1.35 kg.

A gloss touchscreen, Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, Killer 1535 WiFi and a PCIe SSD are standard.The stealth has Intel UHD 620 graphics and is compatible with the optional $500 Razer Core eGPU (external graphics amplifier) that connects to the Ultrabook’s Thunderbolt 3 port. Pricing for the Stealth 8th gen starts at $1,500 and more expensive configs vary only by SSD size. The laptop is available in gunmetal and matte black colors.
