Four nuclear-capable ballistic missiles were personally launched by Russian President Vladimir Putin himself, according to the Kremlin
The launch was part of a series of strategic nuclear tests done by the country. Putin is believed to have launched Russia’s new Satan 2 missile, which Moscow claims can “wipe out a country.” The Kremlin wouldn’t specify what role Putin played in the launch, but confirmed he observed proper launch protocol.
The announcement comes amid rising global tension, as the U.S. and North Korea threaten each other with nuclear war. But while North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has made a show of inspecting his nuclear weapons, Putin is the only world leader believed to have personally taken part in a missile launch.
