We’re on the eve of the launch of a most significant (if not spec-packed) smartphone, the Moto X. We’re hot on the heels of the industry’s latest benchmark-juicing scandal with Samsung’s Galaxy S 4 tweaking. We’re only a week away from seeing what LG has to offer with its G2 (though we already know what accessories it’s launching with). And we’re not even a week out from the launch of the Nokia Lumia 1020, but we’re already in full-on fretting mode about our favorite Finns.
That roster would be enough to fuel two podcast episodes this size, to say nothing of listener mail! But thanks to some resolute pacing and the help of two veteran co-hosts of the Weekly, we’re able to power through this super-dense rundown in just under 90 minutes, while also touching on such pressing issues as Google Wallet, the new HTC 8XT, and all the fakery surrounding Apple’s rumored “iPhone 5C.”
All that, plus two or three pieces of listener mail and a promise of more to come, after the break. So get your gun and bring the cat in: it’s not just the rain you hear coming, but today’s Pocketnow Weekly mobile-technology podcast. Send feedback, questions, and requests to podcast [AT] pocketnow [DOT] com. us on , , and Google Plus to stay apprised of the latest episodes. Thanks for listening!
