The Dankung (Chinese) steel slingshots are getting very popular in the Western world, too. A while ago The Slingshot Channel reviewed the “Warrior” model. The tubular, very short bands and the hard edges plus the small size had been the biggest negative points back then. Now, the model has been enhanced, by replacing the thin paracord wrapping with heavy, thick rope, and also by replacing the original rubber bands against state-of-the-art black Thera Band, thin, wide, and mean. All in all, it is a much better slingshot now!
