Recruits at Parris Island met the drill instructors responsible for transforming them into Marines. These drill instructors will be with them every moment for the next 12 weeks.
Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island is an military installation used for the training of enlisted Marines. The Marines train about 17,000 recruits at Parris Island each year.
