Thanks to an FDA-approved robotic exoskeleton, a woman who has been paralyzed since a horse-riding accident in 2007 was able to walk 10 miles in 24 hours.

Claire Lomas broke her back in a horse-riding accident a decade ago, but that clearly hasn’t stopped her from trying to walk again. Enter the bionic “Rewalk Suit,” a FDA-approved exoskeleton used to help her walk.

Lomas become the first Rewalk user to finish a marathon. In 2016, she finished half of a marathon while 16 weeks pregnant. She has raised nearly $800,000 for spinal injury research, breaking down barriers and pushing herself to the limit.
