Here’s your backstage pass to go behind the scenes with NASA’s Orion Program. Meet the people building the spacecraft that will take humans on the journey to Mars. In this episode, Lockheed Martin technicians Floyd Daniels and Tammy Bourgeois take us into the clean room at NASA’s Stennis Space Center to show us where they inspect Orion’s propellant tubes for contamination. Propellant tubes will be sent to Kennedy Space Center for installation on Orion’s crew module for Exploration Mission 1 in 2018.
