U.S. President Barack Obama on Wednesday highlighted the national security risks that climate change poses, featuring it prominently in a commencement address at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in Connecticut. The White House also released a new report on Tuesday that summarizes findings from numerous federal assessments, each of which has identified the potentially costly and destabilizing impacts of global warming.
