Nvidia has officially brought an end to the “core number race” in two ways by releasing the number mobile processor the Nvidia Tegra K1. By releasing a device with “192 cores” Nvidia not only wins in the numbers games, but partly makes the numbers game a joke. Ultimately it’s not about the number of cores, but about the power of the processor. However, with numbers aside, the Tegra K1 is very powerful.
XDA Developer TV Producer Jordan was on site at International CES 2014 and got a chance to get a demonstration of the power of the Tegra K1. Jordan sat down and talked with the folks at Nvidia, in this video we get to see the power of the K1 through various applications on the Nvida Tegra K1 reference platform.
