Nordic Tank Competition 2016 M1A2 Abrams & Leopard 2 Main Battle Tank – 北欧戦車競技会2016 M1エイブラムス&レオパルト2
NATO allies from seven different countries competed in Denmark’s Nordic Tank Challenge May 23-27, 2016 at Holstebro, Denmark. The Nordic Tank Challenge is a multi-national competition comprised of several events designed to test the knowledge and physical fitness of participating tank crews.
The competition has grown over the years to its current number of 7 participants in 2016. For 2016, two tank crews each from Sweden, Norway, Canada, Germany, Poland, Denmark and the US, battled against one another to claim the title of best tank crew. The use of the M1A2 Abrams allowed the US Soldiers the opportunity to compete on a familiar platform as their NATO counterparts used the Leopard 2 Main Battle Tank.
Winning the competition for 2016 were Soldiers of the Royal Danish Army’s 2nd Tank Squadron, 1st Armor Brigade.

2013年から毎年デンマークで行われている戦車競技会｢北欧戦車チャレンジ｣(Nordic Tank Challenge)が2016年5月23日から27日まで行われた。
今年は7ヶ国(スウェーデン、ノルウェー、カナダ、ドイツ、ポーランド、デンマーク、アメリカ)が出場し、アメリカがM1A2エイブラムス、その他の国はすべてレオパルト2戦車を2両使用して、戦車搭乗員の技量・体力・知力を競い、今年はホスト国のデンマーク陸軍が優勝した。
