Swing Assist automatically stops the swing motion at an operator-defined preset point for loading applications. Either one or two swing stopping points can be set by the operator. To set, the operator simply swings to the desired stopping point and then activates it using the standard machine monitor.

As the operator approaches the stopping point, the machine will automatically decelerate and not allow the machine to swing past the set point. The operator can manually override the stop by positioning the joystick swing lever back to neutral position, and then is able to swing thru.

The Swing Assist feature can be beneficial in applications with a high frequency of repeated, fixed swing positions. These include stockpiling, loading a crusher or hopper, trenching, industrial, or others.

The feature can help minimize unnecessary swing function, reduce operator fatigue, improve cycle times, and increase overall efficiency.
