Grade Assist automatically controls the boom movement to allow operators to get to grade quickly, and stay on grade with greater accuracy. The operator has full control of the stick function to adjust start/stop and grading speed. The system is further enhanced by three pre-defined settings that balance speed and accuracy depending on the application need.

The boom setting can also be adjusted to either automate both boom up and down, or disable the active boom down control, based on operator preference and application. In some cases an operator will want to maintain grade thru the full working range. In other cases an operator will want to have full control of the boom function as the stick moves past vertical inward towards the machine.

Regardless, Grade Assist helps prevent costly overdigging and ensures the last pass is on grade each and every time. It can help operators of all skill levels; minimizing operator fatigue or inexperience, and improving consistency and efficiency over a longer period of time.
