The original Nest Cam has been out for years, originally being called the DropCam. I think it’s a great option for anyone interested in home security, and the price is right. But what about the new Nest Cam IQ? It’s way more expensive, but claims to have much higher image quality thanks to a 4K image sensor. Though that’s not the whole story, because not all 4K video is created equally.
