USS Boxer (LHD-4) Wasp-class amphibious assault ship departs Naval Base San Diego for a regularly scheduled deployment.

The bridge team of USS Boxer prepares to get the ship underway from Naval Base San Diego (NBSD). Sailors and Marines man the rails as she departs. More than 4,500 Sailors and Marines from Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (13th MEU) departed San Diego for a deployment to the U.S. 3rd, 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operations.
