In celebration of National Geographic’s 125th anniversary, Canon partnered with National Geographic Channel to document the journey of award-wining Photographer Cory Richards to the uninhabited peaks of Antarctica to shoot for the National Geographic Magazine.

In the harsh and unpredictable climate, Cory showed us why his EOS 1D-X – with its unbelievable speed, accuracy & durability, is the absolute DSLR to have in order to capture the essence of the environment. Coupled with his EF 70-200mm lens, it enabled Cory to capture the most elusive subjects. With these right equipment, Cory was able to take back home masterpieces from his photo expedition.
