Kate McMurtry is the Branch Chief of Operations Engineering at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California. She is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the technical and administrative supervisory functions of the Branch necessary to ensure continued aircraft airworthiness and mission success at Armstrong.
