NASA Earth Science has a program that helps government agencies and non-profit organizations use Earth observations to inform decision-making and develop practical solutions to real-world problems in the United States and around the world. The Applied Sciences Program supports the practical application of NASA Earth Science in the areas of disaster response, ecological forecasting, health and air quality, and water resources. It works to help organizations develop the ability to understand and make effective use of satellite earth observations through capacity building and training activities.
