This method is called HARD RESET and will reset your Motorola Defy Mini XT321 to factory settings by using a keys combination without requiring the phone to be power on. Use it if you forget your code, password, pin or pattern, if you have blocked your Google account (too many pattern attempts) or if you have various problems with the phone software.

This method will not upgrade or downgrade the firmware version of your Motorola Defy Mini XT321 and it will NOT UNLOCK the network lock. This method does not reset the PIN code of the SIM card. If your phone has been ROOTED this method will NOT UNISTALL the ROOT.

Warning! You do this at your own risk! Take your sim card and memory card from the phone before the reset. All personal data from the phone (contacts, pictures, messages, apps, games, files) will be deleted! Please, if you can, make a backup before!

1.Turn Off the Phone
2.Press power + volume up + volume down and select recovery with volume buttons
3.Press camera button to activate this option
4.Will appear a screen with an android logo and then press home button
4.Choose “wipe data” by using volume down to navigate and camera button to select
5.Choose “Yes” and press camera button to confirm
6.Press camera button to confirm reboot
7.Wait until the phone restarts
