Orangeburg Department of Public Utilities installed a Siemens Distribution Feeder Automation Automatic Transfer System to supply reliable power to an Ibuprofen plant, an anchor of the economy in the Orangeburg area. Its 10-megawatt load is the largest among roughly 25,000 retail customers Orangeburg DPU serves.
