Mini husky abandoned because of a ‘deformity’ needs new forever home
There are a variety of reasons for a dog owner to surrender their pooch to a shelter. Some claim issues beyond their control, such as an unforeseen financial strain, while others simply didn’t know what they were getting themselves into when they adopted their dog in the first place.
Few excuses are as thoughtless as the one given by a certain breeder in Cokato, Minnesota, however. When the breeder learned that Cascade, a seven-week-old husky puppy, had special needs, they decided to simply bring her to the veterinarian to be euthanized.
Thankfully, the staff at the animal hospital had other plans for her
