Mashable’s Lance Ulanoff gives it a spin: ” Don’t get me wrong, Microsoft’s new slab device looks and, in many ways, acts like a tablet, but at its core, it’s a Windows Personal Computer. This simple fact makes Surface an excellent companion device for Windows desktops and laptops, but also makes it unlikely to challenge the iPad.”
