A beautiful MG34 (MaschinenGewehr 34) demonstrated by Tom of R&R Exotic Machines.
The MG34 was used by the Germans from 1934 til the end of WW2. It could be fed from both a belt or a drum. It was also used in tanks, planes, and other vehicles. It really was the go-to MG for the Germans but was just VERY expensive to produce in both materials and man-hours. The MG42 was much cheaper to make since it required less machining and time to produce and utilized many steel stampings- parts pressed out of sheet steel rather than machined from billet steel.
