A tech company held a massive robot dance party in China not only for the fun of it, but to reach a new world record.
About 1,070 of WL Intelligent Technology’s robots, each named Dobi, recently danced in perfect unison for a full 60-second routine in Guangzhou, Guangdong. The dance routine earned them the Guinness World Record for exactly what you might expect: “The Most Robots Dancing Simultaneously.”
The record was previously set at 1,007 robots in 2016.
