Meet the winemaker that’s trying to get you drunk…and high.
On Jan. 1, 2018, it’ll be legal to sell marijuana for recreational use in California, one of the most weed-friendly states in the country. One winemaker is attempting to capitalize on that with their newest product: weed wine.
Rebel Coast Winery created their vintage by infusing sauvignon blanc with a blend of indica and sativa strains. The wine is described as having a “herbaceous nose” — no surprise there. As if the jokes weren’t already writing themselves, a bottle of wine costs exactly $69.
Unfortunately, Rebel Coast’s weed wine has already sold out, so you’ll have to wait until they restock to buy a bottle. And there’s one question left: do you drink it or smoke it?
