How to Add a Gaussian Blur to Your Notification Tray

In this tutorial, I’ll be showing you how to give your notification tray and iOS-like Gaussian blur. This is a nice change from the boring black that is stock on most Android devices.
This hack does require a rooted device with Xposed Framework installed. I’m testing it out on my Samsung Galaxy S4, in which only a portion of the shade will be translucent. If you’re using an AOSP device, the full shade should have the effect.
