The Maya’s “Long Count” calendar marks the end of every 5126-year era. A previous cycle ended 13,363 years ago–during the age of Leo, at the same time when the Earth was struck by comets and asteroids. The next cycle ends on 2012. Does this mean the world end on 2012? No. It means the calendar ends, and this corresponds to the changing of the position of the sun relative to the constellations on the day of the solstice and equinox. Yet, there is also a warning, so let those with eyes, see.
