“Llama Trek Actual Part 1” by Nutnfancy04:33

I’ve lived my life as a backpacker. Inheriting the lifestyle from my father, that’s how I have reached true wilderness. But this time some llama friends made this hike easier. For years I have thought about integrated these interesting pack animals into my wilderness treks. With Crocket’s back giving him problems and him still wanting to go out with CampfireTalk and I on this TNP adventure, this was the perfect time to do it. Well almost perfect. Ideally we would hike our llama buddies, Rama, Casper, and Windstar in snowless conditions and later on that snow becomes a real impediment to the animals. But personal schedule requirements means we do it in these late winter conditions with much snow still on the ground. Part 1 Llama actual begins in a decidedly off the beaten path way as I take the Titan and the boys to pick up the llamas at the fascinating menagerie that is the Hari Krishna Radha Krishna Temple. Peacocks wail, many llamas await at the adventure lottery, and our interesting hosts give us a few quick pointers on llama handling as we hook up their beat up heavy trailer to the Titan. Our llama boys are anxious and this will be their first hike of the year; Casper’s first ever. Allie the Mountain Dog is immediately accepted by this llama crew and my worries of her getting kicked by skittish animals is unfounded. From a puppy, I live stocked trained( with both horses and domestic elk actually!) and it pays off again here. After a laborious pack up, we begin the steep hike through levels of Gambles Oak and laurel into to higher elevations and snow. Rama breathes hard on the extremely steep portion and Camp’s llama Casper decides to sit down mid hike. Windstar and Crocket bring up the rear without complaint. I make a decision to halt the hike in deep snow, fearing the llamas could break their legs in the dense concrete like spring snow. We base camp here, pitch the tents, and then CF, Allie and I make for the high mountain meadow above in a tough bushwhack hike. Great alpine views await from the work. I’m in awe of the night shots agains the blue spruce and full moon night sky.///////////////This is a basic edit video and I thought the events unfolded slowly, perhaps the conversation not very engaging even boring at times but I’m a perfectionis as TNPrs have liked it…thanks!
