On February 22nd, at 4:00 p.m. (EST), surgeons from Springfield Hospital, a Crozer-Keystone Health System hospital, will demonstrate and discuss the use of robotic surgery in the treatment of prostate cancer. With the FDA approved da Vinci® Surgical System, David Samadi, MD, director of Robotics, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and Crozer-Keystone consultant, will perform a robotic-assisted prostatectomy live. Dr. James O’Connell will assist.

The event will be moderated by Dr. Frank D’elia, Dr. Kenneth Weismann, and Dr. Ilya Volfson who will explain critical portions of the procedure as Dr. Samadi operates. The physicians will be able to respond to viewers’ email questions throughout the broadcast on OR-Live
