Lenovo Magic View SmartWatch Review Let me start with the bad news first – The Magic View Dual Screen Smart Watch is just a concept. There are no immediate plans to bring it to market, which is too bad because it was so cool to play with it in Beijing.
Lenovo was nice enough to take me out to Beijing to cover their Lenovo Tech World. We will be a posting a number of videos showing off the new products and concepts we saw on display at the show.
The Lenovo Magic View watch is a smart watch with a MAJOR trick…it can simulate a 17″ image on your wrist. Hold the magic view screen a few inches from your eye and you see what looks like a 17″ image. As a nice bonus, only you can see it – so it is private.
Another cool image – as you move, the image can move. This is great when looking at a map or street view.
While this is just a concept from Lenovo, the prototype I used was so well polished and functional, I would be surprised if we don’t see some of this technology in a future watch release from Lenovo.
