Located at Lake Okoboji, at Arnold’s Park Iowa are some interesting history all in one location.
The Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Queen boat ride, the old Majestic/Dreamland roller rink, and the fabulous Maritime museum with the famous #30 boat display. It crashed and sunk in 1946, was recovered in 1995 and put on display in the museum.
I have been here many times, and always find something interesting. Mary Kennedy and her staff do an excellent job of restoring and displaying Marine Artifacts, Motors, and items from the period, when the park was new.
The Museum tour is free, however donations are kindly accepted.
