Intel’s RealSense Technology Demo at CES 201504:33

Intel is really pushing RealSense as part of its vision for the future of technology, and we got a front row seat at CES this past week. You know the technology I’m talking about—it’s featured heavily in Intel’s new commercials staring The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons.

RealSense essentially comes down to how Intel is utilizing camera technology to make our devices smarter. A lot of this stuff we’ve already seen, but Intel is really making the effort to market this stuff to consumers. Being able to refocus a picture after the fact, or 3D scan your surroundings, like a toy, piece of art or even your own face. And, much to our chagrin, Intel is also championing gesture control for gaming and the like.
