Many rumours were suggesting that the upcoming Galaxy S9 will feature a facial recognition just like Apple, it will carry an in-display fingerprint sensor, it will bring all sensors under the display and all other rumours have now come to an end where the images show that the smartphone will carry an aspect ration of 18:9 and the phone will be edge-to-edge display one. The size is as same as that of company’s last year flagship. The dimension will be the common one and rest is about the fingerprint scanner, then let us make this thing clear that Samsung has placed the fingerprint scanner just below the camera lens and flash LED.

Why the company didn’t place an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Some of you might be aware that the folded display of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus didn’t leave any place to place the fingerprint sensor and same is with Galaxy S9. The company didn’t have any space under the display to put the fingerprint sensor. And thus the company placed it at the back panel same as that of previous year’s flagship.

When it comes to hardware the device will come with an 8GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage. Android 8.0 Oreo will be the OS and the processor might Exynos for Indian buyers and Qualcomm for buyers of other countries. There is no official confirmation from the company regarding the design, specifications and features of the flagship.
