I broke a ball link off the Blade holder today with just a little blade contact with the rug in my garage. I forgot to shut off the Throttle hold switch, so off course it took more abuse before I realized it was on.
Here is how I fixed it. It is now stronger than any of the other ball links on the helicopter. This was a standard practice years ago, before they had replaceable balls. Most high quality RC helicopters have Balls that screw on. This may work for you, but if you don’t feel comfortable with it, DON’T do it.
