*** Please take note of this…..I added an audio output jack to my DX6i which gives me options to be able to hear the beeps in heavy winds, crowds or when lots of airplane engine noise at the field. . It would be nice to see an audio output jack and or volume control on all radios some day. The small amp is great for the most part, as I Velcroed it to the back and or can put it in my pocket. To bother no body else, I can also just pop in an ear phone or ear bud and I can hear it all.
Many transmitters can be done like this or in a similar way.
This may or may not void any warranties, but does not interfere with any electronics.
The Radio Shack amps and jacks may look different these days, as mine are over 10 years old.
