its the newest from Hubsan attempts to copycat a Mini GPS quadcopter as per the market trends in China. Hubsan X4 desire offers a few desirable GPS features like Position hold, auto return to home and me, but unfortunately those features do not work as they advertised. Hubsan X4 is also equipped with 5.8ghz FPV System and a 720P Camera that sends live video down to a tiny scree on Radio Control. I am not surprised, video downlink often and most of the times simply does not work. You will be a lucky person to get the Live Video feed on your Radio someday. Camera records 720P video which is fair enough for its small hardware onboard. It takes low quality still shots too.
Flight wise Quad flies very stable, GPS position hold is nice and good and even on windy days Quadcopter will hold its position just right. So it is very easy to fly for beginners. Auto Return to home and land works superb. But if you are going for me or a solid altitude hold, you are going to be disappointed big time and probably wanna trash the quadcopter right away.
Watch my full video review and decide for yourself if you wanna waste your money on this quadcopter. All in all, there are more cons (bad things) about this quadcopter than pros (good things). I would rather spend my money on something better than this Quadcopter. Hubsan X4 Desire, certainly is one quadcopter you do not want to desire for.
