The HTC U11 Plus boasts similar premium design work and specs as Samsung’s Galaxy S8+. With the U11+ you get Android Oreo earlier than the S8+, plus the same great performance and hopefully longer battery life. Both HTC and Samsung have added their own custom features to Android too, as our hands-on comparison shows.
The U11 Plus will also give the S8+ stiff competition for the camera tech. The original U11 already boasted a brilliant snapper and the U11 Plus’ camera is improved, for sharper photo results.
Note: 4:45 – Contrary to the information HTC supplied us at the event at which this video was recorded, the HTC U11+ does support microSD expandability up to 2TB.
