HTC U11 Eyes complete specs leaked on official website

Most of the times when a leak or speculation shows up, one can’t really be sure of its credibility. However, there are fun times when the manufacturers themselves end up accidentally leaking the details about their product. The same has taken place with the highly-anticipated HTC U11 Eyes. According to a report published by Android Police, complete specifications about the upcoming device showed up on HTC’s official website over the weekend. The details confirmed what the fans already knew about the product.

For instance, we now know for sure that the HTC U11 Eyes will feature a 6-inch Super LCD 3 display with 1,080 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Furthermore, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 system-on-chip, and storage-wise, the smartphone will offer 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of inbuilt memory with support for microSD card.

Apart from this, the smartphone has been confirmed to carry 3,930mAh battery with Android Nougat on top. The smartphone will further support IP67 certification, making it both dust and water resistant. In terms of dimensions, the device has been confirmed to measure 157.9 x 74.99 x 8.5mm and weigh about 185 grams.

As far as its camera specifications are concerned, the device is shown to feature a 12-megapixel Ultra Pixel 3 rear sensor with support for Optical Image Stabilization and ‘UltraSpeed’ Auto Focus. Moreover, the device will sport a dual front package with 5-megapixel sensors and support for Bokeh effects and what not.

“There’s also a beauty mode and even an AR sticker mode,” notes Android Police. Interestingly, the HTC U11 Eyes has been mentioned to carry the facial recognition facility as a standalone feature in the handset. The smartphone will also support the ‘squeeze-to-launch’ notification facility, i.e. the Edge Launcher feature with updated specifications. The company will also be packing its proprietary Artificial Intelligence (AI) supported voice assistants.
