It’s HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, no… STRONGLY ENCOURAGED that you have ran the NVFlash utility and have all of your backups before doing this! I meant to make it one of the first things in this video, but I spent so many hours editing this, that by the time I remembered, the video was already an hour into exporting, and I’m going to bed!
How To use NVFLash:
Download from the official source:
For “Select OS”, choose “Android”. Then expand firmware, then choose one of the top options. Obviously the “US” version is for the United States. Or you can download my mirror below, to the US Android 4.1.1 Update!

Long story short… Download that zip, extract the “US_epad-user-10.4.2.15” zip out of it, then put that on your Primes Internal Storage, OR Micro SD Card. IF you plan on doing a super wipe that basically WIPES EVERYTHING, and you start with a fresh clean slate, MAKE SURE you have the “US_epad-user-10.4.2.15” zip on your Micro SD Card! Because everything will be erased and gone from your internal storage, IF YOU SUPER WIPE! It’s just nice to start fresh every once in a while. After so long, you find yourself asking, “WHAT THE HECK is taking up all the space on my Prime”? lol
