Rooting VOIDS your warranty, and if you don’t follow directions, you COULD Brick your device permanently! You have been warned! directions, ask questions, and everything should be okay.
Choose Android from the dropdown, then click utilities and you’ll see what I’m talking about!

PLEASE UNDERSTAND that if you do this, you can’t go back as of now! YOU are choosing to do this, and you could end up needing to buy another Transformer Prime! I am also including a mirror to the Version 6 Unlock APK JUST IN CASE Asus pulls it or something! BUT PLEASE KNOW that by downloading and installing the apk (from asus’ link or my mirror) your warranty is gone forever! I can’t stress that enough!
If you click “Others” you will find the ICS Source Code for the Prime!
Those are mirrors! I’m a fan of making sure they are always accessible in case Asus tries to pull a Samsung and remove them, or if they are just simply unavailable to download.
