In this video tutorial, I show you how to root and convert a Kindle Fire HD 8.9 tablet into a full-fledged Google Android tablet. This will completely remove Amazon App Store, remove annoying ads, and replace them with pure Google Android 4.2.2 Operating System.
We will be rooting the Kindle Fire 8.9, install TWRP custom Recovery,and install CM10.1 Android 4.2.2 custom ROM.
This is another great example why custom ROMs are great.
