Video showing you how to disable (or enable) roaming on your Windows Phone 7. Roaming is when your phone taps on to another carrier’s network when your own carrier’s network doesn’t have coverage. This can allow you to make calls if you need to but it can quickly get expensive if your plan doesn’t include roaming (as your carrier will charge you extra for it).
To disable roaming on WP7, go to your phone’s settings. Then go to cellular, and under roaming make sure that the “don’t roam” option is selected. Obviously if you want to enable roaming, do the opposite.
