Homemade STEEL CAN Rocket Stove (w/shelf!). Easy DIY. this improved rocket stove build has an extra wide chimney, a larger fuel feed tube and a removable steel shelf (for maximum burn efficiency). video has complete footage on how to build it. stove is made using 4 cans (plus half a can to make the shelf) and gravel or dirt. i made several shelves from simple square ones to the longer rectangle type. stove works great. it’s fueled with twigs, leaves and small sticks. only tools needed are tin snips, pliers and a drill. main body of stove is a metal gallon can ($3.99). chimney is made from two 30oz. old metal “canned fruit” food cans and the fuel feed is made from a del monte spaghetti sauce can. *note that the standard or original style metal rocket stove is made using del monte can as the chimney and small soup can for the feed tube. if you like the vid. please rate, subscribe and share
