The Pixel C is a welcome addition to Google’s convertible tablet lineup, with its unique hinge and speedy internals.
At $500 for the 32GB version and $600 for the 64GB version the Pixel C is a premium priced tablet. Other Android tablets sell for less than $200 so the burden of proof is on the Pixel C to justify the steep price tag.
Its price also puts the Pixel C within spitting distance of Apple’s iPad Pro and the Surface Pro 4, a fight that has the potential to push users towards other options. Can the Pixel C capitalize on a newly contentious market, or does it fall short of the big guns?
