I WISH I had known about this speed test, as it shows the 1GB Google Fiber connection much better! Speedtest.net was NOT able to show the true potential of this connection. I highly recommend checking out this video as well, and PLEASE let him or her know that “wwjoshdew” sent you! 🙂
This was just under 1GB. I sure wish I was using Google Fiber to upload it. For now, I’ll have to stick with my 50 Down 10 Up via Comcast. But in the coming months, I’ll be renting a house and getting Google Fiber installed ASAP. That’s the best part about being an adult… BEING ABLE TO MOVE! Not ALL of KCMO is going to get it at first, just certain parts. There is a map showing which parts of KCK and KCMO are getting it first, and I’ll be picking one of those when my lease is up here! 🙂
I’ll record the guys install Google Fiber, showing the install process, and even make videos showing various tests like uploading huge (massive 3 to 6+ gigabyte) videos, speed tests, and etc. Stay tuned, and please Subscribe if you’re new here! 😀
I also got to play the the Nexus 7 remote and that was sweet! They wouldn’t let me record it (plus YouTube wouldn’t allow me uploading clips of a tv show without getting flagged), but you got to pick your shows via the Asus Google Nexus 7! You could press a button and watch the tv show on your tablet! This stuff is crazy, and I’m super excited to share this with you all.
