Corsair ( Serial # 15 ) is built from an all composite kit by CARF models to a scale of almost ¼ full size – the model is moulded with an aluminium gel coat finish which after painting can be distressed and weathered revealing the aluminium finish underneath – model has a 2.8 metre wingspan with a length of 2.2 metres and weighs 21 Kg,the engine is a Moki 5 cylinder radial of 250cc driving a 3 blade carbon fibre propeller of 32 inch diameter,the driving hub has static variable pitch adjusted to suit the engine output – the radio control system is by Futaba with twin receivers and servos by JR.
