In this tutorial, I’ll be showing you how to enable “Always Listening” hotword detection on any Android phone running KitKat.
Much like the Moto X, you can now say “OK Google” from any screen to trigger a voice search. The functionality even works with your screen off, provided you’re connected to a charger. All you’ll need to get this Gadget Hack installed is a rooted phone running Android KitKat and the latest Google Search/Google Play Services.
