How to Add iOS-Style Badge Alerts for Android Apps

In this softModder tutorial, I’ll be showing you how to receive iOS-style unread count alerts for your apps (, , , etc.) on your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or other Android device.
On the iPhone and other iOS devices, there are “Badge App Icons,” which are unread count notifications that appear in red circles in the top right of each app icon on the home screen. To replicate this notification system for Android apps, we’ll be using something called Notifyer Unread Count, available for free in the Google Play Store.
